Mobile Broadband
Conventional broadband internet access has been possible by marrying the various media (and technologies) such as wireless, fiber optics, copper wire lines and cables involved in transmitting and receiving of information. But the “last mile” reach of the broadband internet to the user has been through telephone lines and cables. This always limits the use of broadband communication to those areas where telephone lines or some form of wired media are available. Mobile broadband internet access has been sought after for a long time. Now with the latest technological advances in wireless technology such as 3G, it will be possible to cover the “last mile” by mobile broadband internet access and thus even in remote areas one would be able to enjoy the benefits of broadband internet which has facilitated spread of global business. Similarly, multiplexers are used where different channels of voice, video, etc are combined to send over one wireless channel. Most of the leading companies now offer mobile broadband cards (or wireless broadband mobile cards, as they are sometimes called) for Laptops and Built-in 3G Laptops which offers easy connectivity for mobile applications (e.g. Sprint mobile broadband card, PCI express cards for mobile broadband, Cingular mobile broadband card, Verizon mobile broadband, T Mobile mobile broadband are some of the leading providers of mobile wireless broadband. Where land based internet is not available or accessible, such as ocean going vessels and mobile land vehicles, worldwide mobile satellite broadband internet access also is possible. All you need is a broadband mobile card or a mobile broadband connection card to do your internet business.
